Among the wonderful inhabitants of Terrapinia are the microscopic Funkiki Kooties. These friendly little critters were first let loose on the rest of Terrapinia when the portal to Funkiki Island was repaired. Their lengthy isolation on Funkiki Island, due to the Great Disaster, led to a bit of an overpopulation problem with the Kooties. When the portal was fixed, the Kooties came flooding into the rest of the world.
Kooties are very friendly creatures and don't cause any harm, but they can be a bit bothersome. You see, Kooties express their affection by covering you with dirt and filth. Over time, the Kooties will cause you to get filthier and filthier. In order to stay clean, I suggest visiting the numerous cleaning stations throughout the different zones! Just remember, Funkeys are environmentally friendly so you can only use any one cleaning activity per day! If you don't clean yourself regularly, over time the Kooties will continue to cover you with grime grease and gunk until you are one filthy Funkey! If you go too long without cleaning, you may be denied entrance to game rooms. Funkeys don't mind if you've accumulated just a bit of road dust, but they don't appreciate Funkeys tracking mud through their game-rooms.
