Installation Help

	U.B. Funkeys Software Installation Steps The following shows the steps to successfully install U.B. Funkeys on your computer.

1. Insert the game CD, and follow the instructions on the 'U.B. Funkeys Install Wizard'.
   
   
2. It is recommended that you install the program to your C: drive for best performance
3. Do not plug in the U.B. Hub to your computer until the following "Error" window appears. This is normal and will not effect the U.B. Hub
   
   
4. When this window appears, connect your U.B. Hub to your computer's USB port.
   NOTE: Do not press any buttons in this window yet (see Step 6 below)
5. Note: When you plug in the U.B. Hub to your computer, the Windows 'New Hardware Found Wizard' will appear on screen. Close this wizard by clicking on the Cancel button. A window will appear stating that the "Hardware may have not been installed properly". Again, this is normal and will not effect the U.B. Hub.
   
   
6. After closing the Windows 'New Hardware Found Wizard' press the "Retry" button on the "Error" window (see Step 3). Pressing "Retry" will load the driver for the U.B. Hub to your computer, and will make it functional.
7. Complete the install process in the 'U.B. Funkeys Install Wizard'
8. Have Fun!

	U.B. Hub Patch Program

If you are encountering problems with the U.B. Hub, you can install the U.B. Hub Patch. Please note that the U.B. Funkeys game should already be installed on your computer from the game CD when you install this program.

1. Download the U.B. Hub Patch to your desktop. Once done downloading, make sure that all open programs on your computer are closed (including U.B. Funkeys)
2. When you double-click on the U.B. Hub Patch icon on your desktop, the following window will appear:
   
   
3. If your U.B. Hub is connected, please unplug it from the USB port, press [NEXT] and the following window will appear:
   
   
4. When the Patch has completed uninstalling any incorrect or old driver for the U.B. Hub (This may take a few seconds), the following window will automatically appear:
   
   
5. When the Patch has completed installing some of the necessary drivers (This may take a few seconds), The following window will appear:
   
   
6. Please plug in your U.B. Hub to your computer now
7. Once you have plugged in your U.B. Hub to a USB port, the Windows 'Found New Hardware' wizard will appear. Please ignore this window. It will automatically close after a few seconds.
   
   
8. A pop-up window at the bottom of your screen will appear stating: "A problem occurred during hardware installation. Your new hardware might not work properly." This is normal, and will not affect the U.B. Patch program. You can close this window after it appears.
   
   
9. When the U.B. Hub Patch program has completed installation, the following window will appear:
   
   
10. Click on [EXIT] to close the U.B. Hub Patch program.
11. Launch the U.B. Funkeys game program and enjoy a world of games!
